In general, the Donation Coordinator will encourage, accept and start processing donations to PPM:

Encourage donations

Accept donations

  • Stay in contact with potential donors that are "on the fence"
  • Meet and greet donors when they drop stuff off, if possible
  • Coordinate pick up of donations, if necessary
  • Give / send tax receipts to those who want them

Process donations (with help of Area Captains)

  • Post descriptions here on Donations Received
  • Distribute items into appropriate areas
  • Photograph items that go into service, post to our wiki
  • Store other items

The Donation Coordinator will not be responsible for repairing items, or pursuing grants, but is welcome to help in these areas, of course!
