Inkscape is a free desktop software application used to create vector artwork.
It is .free and open-source software (FOSS) and available for Windows, Mac (including Apple Silicon), and Linux.
Inkscape's native file format is .svg (Scalable Vector Graphics). It can import and export many other file formats, including PDF, EPS, JPG, GIF, PNG, and more.
At Pikes Peak Makerspace (PPM), we maintain Inkscape on our Windows Design Workstations 1-3.
