Wish List

Pikes Peak Makerspace is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so we can provide a receipt for any donations you make.

(Help Wanted) Donation Coordinator - draft description

In general, the Donation Coordinator will encourage, accept and recognize donations to PPM:

  • Define what donations we can/cannot use (no CRTs, for example)
  • Stay familiar with what is on our Wish List
  • Stay in contact with donors that are "on the fence"
  • Meet and greet donors when they drop stuff off, if possible
  • Coordinate pick up of donations if necessary
  • Send/give tax receipts to those who want them
  • Sort/photograph donations
  • Post photos and descriptions here on Donations Received
  • Distribute items into appropriate areas with help of Area Captains, store other items
  • Photograph items that go into service, post to our wiki
  • Monitor Craigslist and/or Facebook Marketplace for free stuff
  • Rinse and repeat

The Donation Coordinator will not be responsible for repairing items, or pursuing grants, but is welcome to help in these areas, of course!
