(Help Wanted) Donation Coordinator - A new position draft description

In general, the Donation Coordinator will encourage, accept and recognize donations to Pikes Peak Makerspace (PPM):

Define what donations we can/cannot use (e.g. no CRTs)

Stay familiar with what is on our Wish List

Stay in contact with donors that are "on the fence"

Meet and greet donors when they drop stuff off, if possible

Coordinate a tour of the space, or promote our Tour Video

Send/give tax receipts to those who want them

Coordinate pick up of donations if necessary

Sort/photograph donations

Post photos and descriptions here on Donations Received

Distribute items into appropriate areas with help of Area Captains

Store other items

Photograph items that go into service, post to our wiki

Rinse and repeat

(also watch Craigslist for free stuff?)

The Donation Coordinator will not be responsible for repairing items, or pursuing grants, but is welcome to help in these areas, of course!
